Dear Friends,
On behalf of everyone in the Chicago Academy for the Arts family, thank you for being a part of our 40th Anniversary Gala!
In our first major in-person event in more than two years, more than 300 of us celebrated our legacy and our future, honored Alice Gold and Pat Rusk, and witnessed firsthand the extraordinary artwork of the best young artists in the world. (This was my first event since life-altering brain surgery several months ago, and I couldn’t be more thankful to return to the community in such a joyous setting.)
Today, I am humbled and grateful to announce that, because of the generosity of friends like you, we raised more than $497,000 in support of the incredible young artists who call The Academy “home”.
Please see below for highlights of the evening, including red carpet photos and our Gala video.
To our students, families, faculty, staff, alums, and friends: thank you for celebrating with us.
With enormous gratitude,
Jason Patera
Head of School
P.S. Tax letters will be headed your way in the weeks ahead. Don’t hesitate to contact Director of Development Evan Pazkowski if you have any questions.
