Academy alum Maisie Schloss (Visual Arts '09) is included in the new Forbes "30 Under 30" list! Backed by Kanye West, her company is making waves in the fashion world.
"In her four years at Kanye West's Yeezy, Schloss rose from errand runner to head womenswear designer. The rapper appreciated her quirky style, once complimenting her geriatric men's' shoes, and in 2018 offered to back her if she wanted to start her own company. Her first collection--inspired by rhythmic gymnastics and robotics--is now for sale with 25 retailers including Opening Ceremony and Net-A-Porter."
