We are thrilled to announce that Mayor Rahm Emanuel has proclaimed February 9 (Showcase Day) to be "Randy Duncan Day" in Chicago!
In a letter to Randy, the Mayor writes:
“You will always be valued as a talented choreographer, dedicated educator, and hardworking man who has greatly contributed to the lives of students, families, the dance world, Chicago, and the world. So, as you enjoy this momentous occasion, with students, faculty, friends, and family, I hope you will take the time to reflect on your past, present, and future accomplishments and endeavors. I commend you for a body of work that will enlighten and inform people for generations to come.”
