Pamela “Pam” Jordan

Pamela Jordan's journey at The Academy began in the early 90s when she joined as a voice teacher in the Music Department. Her dedication and passion for music was evident, and it wasn't long before she took on the role of Music Department Chair, guiding her students until she left to pursue a singing career in Europe.

Frank Mustari vividly recalls the first time he saw Pam in the Founder's Wing, where she was surrounded by students and faculty greeting her with hugs and kisses. Frank wondered, Who is causing all that trouble? He invited Pam into his office, where an instant connection was forged. Their conversation that day stretched on for nearly two and a half hours, a testament to the connection they shared.

Having just returned from her singing career in Europe, Pam was offered the role of Vice Principal by Frank nearly instantly. She accepted, and from that moment on, their partnership set the stage for transformative changes at The Academy. The rest, as they say, is history—a history filled with milestones and achievements that continue to resonate in the hearts of the Academy community.

When Frank retired from The Academy in 2002, Pam stepped up to the position of Head of School. Her leadership was marked by unwavering commitment, innovation, and a deep love for the school. Pam's tenure as Head of School, lasting until 2013, was defined by her vision and dedication to nurturing not just the school's academic excellence but also its pre-professional arts programs.

Though Pam may have officially stepped down from her role in 2013, her presence is still very much felt at The Academy. She frequently attends shows and events, and her impact lives on in the students and faculty that she impacted. Pam’s time at The Academy shows how one person’s passion and devotion can leave a significant impression on a school and its community.

Thank you, Pam, for your many years of dedication to The Academy.
