Anna Paskevska's journey at The Academy began in 1994, a pivotal moment when her exceptional expertise, honed through training at renowned institutions like the Paris Opera, the Martha Graham School, and London's The Royal Ballet, brought her to our school. She was a gifted instructor with the ability to weigh the delicate balance of persistence and compassion. This unwavering standard of excellence caused her students to affectionately call her “Ms. P” around the school.

Anna's dedication extended far beyond the dance studio, transcending the confines of her role. Throughout her tenure, she engaged in a continuous dialogue that helped shape and nurture the very ethos of our entire school community. She was a tireless advocate for the transformative power of the arts, steadfastly believing in their ability to enrich the lives of our students.

In 2007, Anna transitioned into retirement, leaving her post as Chair of the Dance Department.

Yet, her unwavering determination, well-defined path, and forward-thinking vision had already established a lasting groundwork for those who would follow in her footsteps. She was a beacon of inspiration, and her influence on the Dance Department continues to reverberate through the years, a testament to her leadership.

Tragically, in that same year, Anna passed away after battling cancer. In her memory, a scholarship fund was created, serving as a lasting tribute to her profound influence.

As we celebrate Anna's remarkable life and contributions, we remember her not only for her exceptional artistry but also for the boundless love and inspiration she brought to our community.
