Amanda LePard joins The Academy with over 10 years of Admissions experience in independent schools. A lifelong dancer, Amanda is classically trained and received a degree in Dance and Communication from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point before moving to Chicago to pursue a professional dance career.
Amanda had the privilege of dancing professionally with various companies in Chicago for nearly 10 years, including Chicago Dance Crash, Corpo Dance Company, Project606 Dance, Ballet Legere, and Chicago Opera Theatre. Amanda also appeared as a dancer and extra in the feature film, Public Enemies in 2009.
Amanda has been teaching dance and movement for over 20 years, most recently as a certified yoga instructor.
Having the opportunity to join the faculty at The Academy is a dream come true for Amanda!
