The Chicago Academy for the Arts is pleased to invite interested families to visit The Academy for the Visual Arts Department Open House on Friday, November 3 at 4:00 p.m. Observe The Academy’s studio courses in sculpture, painting, and design. Learn more about our college preparation process by viewing and speaking with current senior students about their portfolios.

The Visual Arts Department’s Figure Drawing Exhibition will be on display, with. chance to preview the next Student Sketchbook Exhibition (opening reception on Nov 17– more info coming soon).

Families will learn about the Visual Arts Department's curriculum from Department Chair Margy Stover and hear from our current families. There will also be an opportunity to hear more about our admissions process from Director of Enrollment Management Amanda LePard. Register below!

Visual Arts Department Open Houses will be held on both November 3 and January 26. Be sure to indicate your preferred date (or register for both!) on the registration form.
