The Chicago Academy for the Arts is pleased to invite 7th Grade Families to visit The Academy this spring! 7th Grade Preview Day is an opportunity for students to observe an arts department they are interested in while parents attend an informational session with Head of School Jason Patera. The event will begin at 3:00 p.m. and conclude at 4:30 p.m.
7th Grade Preview Day will be held on both March 25 and April 15. Be sure to indicate your preferred date (or register for both!) on the registration form.

IMPORTANT COVID INFORMATION
At The Chicago Academy for the Arts, our priority remains the health and wellness of students, families, faculty and staff. Therefore, The Academy is implementing a COVID-19 Vaccination and Mask Requirement plan for visitors through the end of 2021. The specifics of this policy — which is in line with most schools and performing arts venues in Chicago — include:
Wear a face mask: All visitors, regardless of vaccination status, will need to wear a face mask which covers their nose and mouth throughout their time at an indoor Academy event, including the duration of Open Houses, tours and shadow days. Neck gaiters or masks with exhalation valves are not permitted.
Proof of vaccination OR negative test: Guests will need to be fully vaccinated with an FDA-authorized vaccine in order to attend an admissions event, shadow day or tour and must show proof of vaccination and identification at the time of entry. “Fully vaccinated” means that the admissions event, shadow day or tour must be at least 14 days after the second dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine, or at least 14 days after a single-dose vaccine.
Those ineligible or unwilling to be vaccinated may alternatively provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the event start time, or a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken within 6 hours of the event start time.
