Please join the Dance Department on May 4 for the inaugural presentation of the Icons of Choreography Dance Series, presented by Barbara Levy Kipper. The work of iconic choreographers Martha Graham, Gerald Arpino, and Alvin Ailey will be featured in this performance, specifically their pieces Diversion of Angels, Kettentanz, and Escapades. This series is a special opportunity for the Academy dancers, as these works are distinctive and are typically only available to premier, professional companies. Because of the Academy Dance Department’s reputation as an elite institution, we have been afforded this unique opportunity. We hope you will join us for this remarkable occasion.
